“Don’t be afraid of the competition, be afraid of your incompetence.”
This phrase, shared with me by my father during one of our conversations, deeply resonated with me when I expressed the frustration of discovering that my designs were being copied. Since then, it has stayed with me as a constant reminder that true competition is not outside, but within ourselves: in the continuous pursuit of excellence and authenticity.

 

My passion for creation began in childhood. I would draw endlessly, explore graphic design, win awards for my oil paintings, and gradually expand my horizons. I started interior design and even founded a small ceramic factory, only to realize that replicating the same thing over and over again didn’t nourish my creativity.

 

It was then that I decided to fully dedicate myself to art. Painting oil paintings, winning national contests, art became my lifestyle. But I didn’t stop there. My pursuit was constant: create more, create better, and always be at the forefront.

 

The true transformation happened when Alejandro, a dear friend, asked for my help designing his house. That’s when I discovered the fascinating world of architecture. I realized that architecture isn’t just about building—it’s about awakening emotions. Every space has the power to inspire and transform daily life. I began to see architecture as livable sculptures, where every line, every volume, every material is a piece of art.
